Joe Calzaghe has joined the chorus urging Ricky Hatton to retire following his damaging defeat to Manny Pacquiao.

Calzaghe, who retired in February with a perfect record of 46 wins from 46 fights, believes time has caught up with ‘The Hitman’, whose defeat to the Filipino was the second of his career following his loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr in 2007.

Andre Berto made the third defence of his World Boxing Council welterweight title with a unanimous decision over Colombia’s Juan Urango on Saturday.

The undefeated 25-year-old’s speed and skills frustrated Urango and he was able to keep the fight largely at distance at Hollywood’s Hard Rock Live Arena.

Two judges scored the bout 118-110 for the American, while a third saw it 117-111 to give Berto the 25th win of his burgeoning career.

Shane Mosley has called out Manny Pacquiao as he looks to become the pound-for-pound king again.

The 37-year-old American has won titles in three weight divisions so far and claimed the WBA super-welterweight title with a ninth-round knockout of Antonio Margarito in January.
